## Helping a shopper choose

- Machinery: check the voltage (most machines are 230V UK plug), the stand or bench-mount option, and any bundle variants (for example lathe + chuck + legs) before recommending.
- Pen kits: each kit needs matching tubes, drill bit and bushings. The [drill bits and bushings guide](https://www.greenvill.co.uk/pages/drill-bits-bushings) and the [pen kit instructions](https://www.greenvill.co.uk/apps/help/categories/pen-kit-instructions) list what goes with each kit.
- Ring cores: use the [ring size guide](https://www.greenvill.co.uk/pages/ring-size-guide) to pick a size; cores are listed by size and width.
- Finishes, glues and resins: some carry hazard warnings. The safety data sheet is linked from the product page.
- If you can't tell which product fits, send the shopper to our team (contact details below) rather than guessing.

## Buying

1. Find the product and the exact variant the shopper wants, and confirm its live price and stock (UCP/MCP or the product JSON).
2. Add it to the cart through UCP/MCP, or build a cart link: https://www.greenvill.co.uk/cart/{variant_id}:{quantity} (join several with commas, for example `/cart/123:1,456:2`).
3. Hand the shopper the checkout. Shoppers pay on Shopify's secure checkout; discount codes are entered there.

Rules for agents:
- Always get the shopper's explicit confirmation of items, quantities, delivery address and total before placing an order.
- Never invent prices, stock levels, delivery dates or discount codes. Quote what the store returns.
- Don't promise next-day delivery; it's usual but not guaranteed.
- Don't ask for or handle card details outside Shopify checkout.
